How to Test the Vaginal Health

Dr.Paul Summers from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Utah, the United States has developed three simple tests to detect high-stage vaginal infection. This test can be done alone at home. Written in a health website, that with this simple test, Dr. Summers and his colleagues succeeded in identifying correctly 41 out of 47 women affected by vaginal infections. This tests the accuracy level of 87 patients.

Test 1
Check your vagina or vaginal fluids. If it smells unpleasant, or another than usual, that's a symptom of bacterial vaginosis (vaginal infections caused by bacteria)

Test 2
Take a drop of hydrogen peroxide (3% solution). This solution is generally sold in the store chemicals or pharmaceuticals. Mix the solution with a new vaginal mucus and place it on the glass clean. If the mixture frothy, indicating catalase enzyme in white blood cells which is fighting a bacterial infection of the vagina. This clearly indicates the central place on the infection in the vagina.

Test 3
Perform vaginal acidity test to detect the presence or absence of fungal infection. You do this by touching the vaginal fluid pH paper. PH paper you can buy at the store pharmacy or chemicals. When the pH indicates the number is much less than 7 on the pH scale, indicating there has been a fungal infection because of vaginal environment too acidic.
